Student Success Statement # 43

Good Quality People

“ Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation;  for ‘tis better to be alone than in bad company” George Washington

This statement shows how we should not associate with people who do the wrong things. George Washington wants to teach us that it is better to be  alone than in bad company.  For example You having new friends that like to smoke and drink alcohol. Are they really you friends? They soon will want to encourage you to drink with them. Those are not true friends  and would be best if you do not talk to them any more.
