Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmologist have the same duties as ophtamotrist but are also eye surgeons and treat eye diseases. They are to check patients eyes and diagnose any need for glasses. They also prescribe contact lenses. Skill ophthalmologist should have is a strong physics and math skill.

Education: To become an ophthalmologist you must have a 4 year bachelor's degree. They must go through 4 years of medical school to get their degree. They must also complete 3 to 8 years of internships and residencies.
